Nothing says rad sports adventure SUV like 20/80 weight distribution, poor handling, even poorer braking, and adding $20K to most repair bills following an accident from the above.

Sure looks great parked outside a shopping mall. :/

What? That’s an aluminum carrier with a sub-300 pound dual sport. Call it 350 pounds with the fuel cans. Absolutely no different than trailer tongue weight. Ain't gonna matter on a six thousand pound Cruiser.

Why bother?  The brakes on the first year FJ80 were pathetic...  The train with the roof peeled off stops faster than a transition year FJ80.

I doubt the carrier, TW200 and jerry cans add more than about 350 lbs combined behind the rear bumper. The rear of the Land Cruiser isn’t sagging at all, it’s handling the load like a boss. I’d bet weight distribution with driver and front seat passenger and loaded cargo area is more like 40/60.
